Since Enerdrive and Dometic broke into the 4WD canopy market in recent years, manufacturers and end users have consistently asked for a compact power solution to simplify the installation of modern setups. Enerdrive has produced several models to cover just about any requirement. Whether you just want a simple system for fridge and lights, or a complex setup with inverter and AC charging, Enerdrive has you covered.

All power systems are pre-wired by Enerdrive for easy installation: Bolt the box into your canopy or station wagon, connect the inputs, outputs and house battery, and hit the road!

All systems are built into a unique compact box arrangement and are designed to mount to the wall or ceiling of a vehicle's canopy. The systems are available in 3 orientations which dictate the location and orientation of the faceplate (Left, Right, or Ceiling Mount). Any brand of 12V battery is suitable, and compatible chemistries include Wet, Sealed, AGM, Gel and Lithium.

The Explorer:

This system is designed for simpler setups. Key features include a DC-DC charger with alternator and solar input, and a Pico touchscreen battery monitor. Charge from your vehicle's engine or solar panels, and keep track of your battery level and loads with the Pico monitor.

The Enerdrive DC2DC40+ Battery Charger is a fully automatic multistage, multi input battery charger with the ability to charge from either the vehicle alternator or solar power. Featuring an MPPT solar controller for maximum efficency. Charge rate is user selectable from 5 to 50A. Vehicle input 12 or 24V. Solar input 45V and 800W max.

The Pico is an advanced WiFi enabled battery monitor from Simarine. Featuring a shunt and a high resolution 3.5" glass touchscreen with automatic backlight, it displays State of Charge (SOC), Time Remaining, Voltage, Wattage, Current, and Capacity of the House battery bank. It also measures temperature, pressure, second battery bank voltage, and tank level (1x volt type or 2x resistance type). Access data and settings with the mobile app: connect directly when near your vehicle, or connect through a WiFi router to monitor your system remotely. The Pico can measure 300A continuous. The additional SCQ50 module has 4x 50A shunts. 3 of these are used to measure the amperage of the charger, fridge and switches/sockets to allow for a more complete view of the system loads.

Enerdrive offers some custom options for an additional cost. The standard green faceplate can be swapped for a matte black version. The circuit breaker labels can be customised. The blank switch covers can be labelled. Swap the USB socket or cigarette lighter socket to have two of the same. The battery reset button can be modified for use with 24V vehicles.
